| HERITAGE ANTIQUE CENTER is engaging in a serious mission -- to live up to our name & preserve our heritage. For us, that means changing the way we do business. Part of that goal is to do things like installing energy saving lighting throughout our store. You'll see other changes too. From the paper products we use, to the cleaning products employed, every effort will be made to protect our environment & our "heritage". |
| Another way we can preserve our heritage is to encourage our customers to buy antiques, collectibles & architectural salvage pieces instead of new products. It’s true that they're attractive, unique & have lasted through a long period of time. More importantly however, the restoration, use & maintenance of these items reduces waste in our landfills, while representing a piece of our earth's history & how it has changed throughout the years. Just think -- many types of wood used in our vintage furniture of a hundred years ago are now endangered. Architectural items reflect the stylings & taste of the period when they were created allowing you to relive that time. Collectibles restore memories of our own childhood or the childhood of those close to us. These items were all made with a quality of craftsmanship rarely seen today except in custom pieces. |
